This recording was initiated in fall of 2019 when we were working on
a trio format with Reg, Kevin and myself.Terry Clarke was there to add a couple of quartet tracks.As it turns out the trio CD "Trouble in Mind" was nominated for a Juno award in Canada but the Juno's never took place because of the onset of Covid 19 in
March 2020.

We recorded again in early 2020 and produced this set of compositions - several
by Herbie Hancock- which we have titled "Ides of March" an original tune composed
Several years ago.A very prophetic title in light of the virus pandemic.
Listening to this music now renews my faith in jazz improvisation and certainly
Highlights the wonderful talents of Reg,Kevin and Terry.We hope we will come back one day soon and perform this music "live" for a jazz audience!
Until then, keep well in this “social distance" world.
